Material Information

Floor:
flooring in round space, printed leaves on outdoor paper, covered with transparent resin. (epoxy floor). Other spaces light green (Ral 6019) resin.

Wall:
walls are mostly made up by the ‘furniture’ which is the big round ‘cabinet’ consisting of 522 drawers made of green perspex. The construction walls that are not covered by furniture, are plastered and painted white

Ceiling:
round space: transparent white stretch ceiling. Workspace in the back has a stucco ceiling. Ceilings in other spaces which lead in and out of the round space are made out of plywood painted white, making them part of the big round cabinet.

Lighting:
inside the round space i.e. inside the cabinet the ceiling which is transparent white functions as a light fitting lit trough from above. Inside the cabinet are 72 tube lights, with a green filter. Their light bounces off, of a white back wall that reflects the light trough the transparent green drawers. Lighting in the work space is provided by 3 large uplighters (ceiling washer from Erco 33210), other lighting, also in the entrance and ‘library’ is provided by downlights (mini haloscan 20, Modular). In the entrance when the pharmacy is opened the large entrance-lightcase functions as a ‘lightwall’, when the pharmacy is closed this wall, which is suspended from ceiling rails, is rolled towards the outside wall, completely closing of the entrance.

round space: round cabinet: (36 partitions), white plywood (betonplex) sides, 522(altu glas) drawers, and aforementioned tubelights
counter: synthetic concrete on a steel frame suspended from steel beam (hidden by tree)
seat: black leather covered wooden frame
